Desert Safari
It includes a sedan ride to a desert resort, camel ride on the dunes, high tea, cultural evening and dinner at a desert resort.
We leave the hotel for a dunes resort post lunch. It is a 40 min ride to the sand dunes. Once at the dunes we first take a camel ride on the dunes. As we traverse the dunes on a camel back while the Sun gradually sets, it makes for a memorable experience. Subsequently we head to a nearby resort for high tea and cultural program followed by dinner and then we drive back to Rupal Residency.
Various other adrenaline pumping activities that you may want to try are jeep safari, dune bashing in a SUV and adventure sports like quad biking & parasailing. They are not included in the desert safari package and can be booked separately at the hotel or on location.

Dune Bashing
Inspired by the famous Dubai Land Cruiser rides on the dunes, this activity involves rafting on the dune slopes with rapid and swift climb up and descend on the inclined dunes in a 4WD. Preferred by generians, it has its own thrill and kick to it.

A safari in an open jeep is for someone looking for some raw fun on the dunes. Preferred by youngsters, It gives an adrenaline rush that every adventure seeker must attempt.

Camel Ride
A trip to Jaisalmer is incomplete without a camel ride on the desert sand. One can opt for sitting on the camel back or on a cart attached to the camel. Either way it makes for a rickety ride, one you are unlikely to forget for a long time to come.

War Museum- 2 Hours
After a short rest at the hotel, next is the War Museum. It has information about the evolution of the Indian army and various battles it has fought over the years. Various war equipment used by army, the latest to vintage, captured enemy hardware and murals of soldiers are on grand display at the museum.

Longewala War Museum, Tanot Mata Mandir & Border Post– 8 hours
From here we go to the Gadisar lake to spend the evening where we can take an idyllic boat ride, watch a light n sound & puppet show and do some shopping. It is followed by dinner at the Godavan Restaurant.

Our Jaisalmer In a Day tour package covers all major attractions in one day including the dunes but starts early at 7 am & ends at 10:30 pm.
Border Tour
Tanot Mandir, Longewala Post and Indo-Pak Border (Full Day; Only for individuals holding an Indian Passport).
Tanot Mandir
This full day tour starts after breakfast with a 1 hour 30 min ride to Tanot Mandir. After darshan at the mandir, we head to the Indo-Pak border (identity card necessary) which is an experience in itself. Then we have lunch at a local restaurant and is followed by a visit to the Longewala post.
Longewala Post and Indo-Pak Border
The famous battle of Longewala during the 1971 Indo-Pak war was fought here and is a stuff of legends and even has a Bollywood film ‘Border’ made on it. If wars or Indian Army interests you then this place is a must visit as it has its own museum and some interesting displays.

Breakfast at Fort Ruins
If you wish to spend a morning amongst the ramparts of ruined ancient fort then this is just the bustle you were looking for. Khaba fort is part of the famed Kuldhara village complex of Paliwal Brahmins that constituted an important landmark in the ancient silk route. It has sweeping views of the village ruins and desert landscape below and forms an idyllic spot to have the morning tea with pancakes. The grazing cattle and peacocks can be spotted in the area.
